Day 2 of our Cote d’Azur road trip went as follows (also, pretty much entirely unplanned): Marseilles –> Cassis –> Saint-Tropez –> Frejus
Miles walked: 5
Miles driven: ~90
Marseille in the Day
Notre Dame de la Garde in daylight!
These two…
Incredible views of Marseille from the Notre Dame:
Silly boys:
Cassis
Began our search for the beautiful calanques (coves) of Cassis in the little, adorable beach front city (where we later rewarded ourselves with crepes):
Off we go!
Approaching our first cove – Calanque de Port-Pin (I don’t know about you, but I personally have never seen water this clear in my life):
Port-Pin – you are truly spectacular:
Wonders of the GoPro:
Goodbye Port-Pin! You were lovely!
On to Calanque d’En Veu!
Here we come!
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any prettier:
Underwater fun:
Adios calanques! We have enjoyed you oh so dearly. Now back on shore and ready for some crepes!
Saint-Tropez
The beautiful beaches of Saint-Tropez:
Oh, didn’t you know? I secretly run a beachfront restaurant on the French Riviera in my spare time.
